In May 2017, we brought BITBITS, a new crunchy snack, to the US market, aiming to shake up the snack industry alongside M&Ms, Reese’s Pieces, and others. As Head Copywriter, I was deeply involved in the conceptualization of the brand, crafting scripts for each video, and contributing to the art direction for social media.
Miguel Cabrera, the Detroit Tigers' Triple Crown recipient, was a key partner at Miggy Foods, which inspired us to position BITBITS as a true American alternative. We kicked off with a teaser campaign in Detroit, Michigan, followed by the official launch on Opening Day at Comerica Park, complete with national TV coverage. The launch was amplified by an on-site activation at the stadium, complemented by a robust social media and OOH campaign around the area. This strategic rollout made a strong impression in the Midwest, generating the buzz needed to successfully introduce BITBITS to South Florida with a big, crunchy story.
